Tyler Tyson, President of Tyson Investigative Services has 40 years of police, investigative and management experiences. He served 27 years in the Baltimore Police Department and was assigned to various investigative units before his retirement. Tyler Tyson holds a valid private detective license from the states of Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Tyler Tyson leads the company with 10 years of private investigating experience, which includes fraud surveillances, obtaining recorded statements and investigating automobile accidents. Additionally, he served as a bodyguard to the mayor of Baltimore while receiving training from the Secret Services Division of the U.S. Treasury Department. He has also served as the personal bodyguard to the president of the Visa Corporation. Furthermore, Tyler Tyson managed the security operations for Rite-Aid Corporation and doing so with an annual budget of over $1.5 Million Dollars. The areas of responsibility included Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Furthermore, he traveled the country training Security Coordinators for the company. After being promoted to Loss Prevention Manager, his responsibilities included the overseeing of the guard operations. In this position, he helped to protect the assets of the company by conducting interviews with associates, store managers and pharmacist. Many admitting to the theft of monies, drugs and other merchandise. This resulted in the recovery of thousands of dollars, the termination and sometimes the prosecution of dishonest associates. Karen Smith, Vice President has experience in managing an investigative services office by keeping records, the dissemination of investigative assignments and invoicing. Additionally, she is a licensed private investigator with over 8 years of experience as an investigator. Karen Smith’s has conducted many covert field surveillances as well as computer based investigations. She is also proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
